Submission Deadline:

The theme of this show will be "9/11 and Its Legacy," and we encourage you to submit projects on a broad range of subjects. Some examples include: contemporaneous photographs of the attacks and immediate aftermath; the resilience and recovery of family members, survivors and first-responders; the event's wider impact on the national consciousness and American life; the US military response; the impetus of many people to work towards peace and making a difference in their communities; the revitalization of the new World Trade Center neighborhood; and more.

We are open to both documentary and artistic works, by photographers from student to professional. Photo projects should consist of 15-25 images and video projects should be 10 minutes or shorter. Five presenters will be selected.

The 9/11 Tribute Center is a project of the September 11th Families’ Association, a section 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, founded by 9/11 families in November 2001 to provide information, support and resources. In 2004, the September 11th Families’ Association broadened its mission to create the Tribute Center, a museum dedicated to sharing the stories of the 9/11 community—survivors, family members who lost loved ones, first responders, civilian volunteers, neighborhood residents—and providing a destination for over 400,000 visitors annually.
