Five curated presenters have 10-15 minutes each to introduce one project/body of work. We welcome diverse topics ranging from documentary to fine art. Open Show is designed to be an interactive forum where audience members are encouraged to give feedback and ask questions of the presenters, both formally and in a social setting.

Michal realized that subconsciously, she has been photographing different elements from her childhood. Her pictures hold memories filled with curiosity, innocence, and wonder. They are a reminder of her as a child, wandering through the colorful fruit trees, in her small home town .

The Golden Age

The Golden Age, is a series of portraits inspired by seventeenth century Dutch Realism. The project asks us to shift our perspective about representation in art where multiple stories of cultural exaltation could co-exist together.

Neighbors is a collection of portraits of Americans taken across all 50 US states. The images are presented as diptychs to create dialogues about and between the subjects and to encourage empathic connections between viewers and their fellow Americans.
